I've been instructing EFL at the tertiary level in Japan for the past 20 years, and am now a PhD candidate in Applied Linguistics at Aston University in the UK. Using case study, I investigate the effect of different genres of video on the oral proficiency of Japanese EFL students in university classrooms.
